Description

The Smokey Robinson-penned 'Operator' was a minor hit in 1965. Brenda Holloway was reportedly unhappy that, as she saw it, Motown were trying to make her into another Mary Wells (who had also recorded the song a few years earlier) but whatever, this record is fabulous!
